Rapper, Olamide Replies Critics After Receiving Major Backlash From “Logo Benz”.

Nigerian star rapper and YBNL Boss, Olamide took to social media, to defend the new song ‘Logo Benz’ which he was featured on, own by his former recording label Artist, now YAGI boss, Lil Kesh.

The new song by Olamide and Lil Kesh received  major backlash for which most people believe is promoting ritual and illegal means of making money.

The record label boss and Musician, Olamide reacted saying, that people fail to respond when he sings about how artistes  are mistreated by label executives, but it is a song like Logo Benz that has turned everybody to ‘werey’…

He wrote:

Furthermore, Olamide’s defense comes following an outcry by Nigerians over its lyrics which is said to promote ‘yahoo-yahoo’ and ‘blood money.’

The singer took to his twitter page to defend the song, saying it is for the 3rd party to have a glimpse of the state of youths in Nigeria. He wrote;

Logo Benz is for the 3rd party to have a glimpse into the current state of youths in our society. (Runs girls x runs boys) “ I’m not sure if there’s anything like 2 much awareness, but pardon me if there is. It’s all over the news, it’s always been in movies, don’t box musicians.
