On 18th April 2020, Global Citizen in support of the World Health Organization, held a virtual concert to promote the practice of social distancing and also to appreciate the frontline health workers who have stood in line to help fight the spread of the disease.

For the purpose of this, several international celebrities such as Lady Gaga, John Legend, Celine Dion, Lizzo, Cassper Nyovest, Burna Boy, legendary Italian singer and songwriter Andre Bocelli, Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson to mention a few delivered such an amazing performance to this cause. Also others who contributed to this cause was Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo- Olu, David Beckham, T.D Jakes Samuel L Jackson, Beyonce amongst others.

Simi Reveals Baby Bump

Yaay!! Congratulations are in order as Nigerian singer, songwriter, Simi and her husband Adekunle Gold are expecting their first child together.

The singer, who celebrated her birthday, on Sunday, 18th April also released the video for her new single, “Duduke” where she revealed the bun in the oven. The singer couldn’t help but show excitement over her baby with words.

Davido’s Fiancée, Chioma Tests Negative For Covid19

After testing positive for the novel Covid19, and she had to go into isolation for some days, Chioma as now tested negative for the virus.

The news was revealed by Davido on his twitter page where he tweeted, “Glory be to God, Chioma has now tested negative twice for Covid19. Thank you all for prayers, we love you”

That’s some great news right there.

Nigeria Records Over 600 Cases Of Covid19

A week after President Buhari announced another 14 days lockdown, the number of confirmed cases of Covid19 in Nigeria as at 18th April 2020 is 627 and the total number of deaths recorded so far is 21, with 170 discharged cases.
